Celebrating Cali, Host City for COP16!
Cali will be the host city for the sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 16 CBD) to be held from 21 October – 1 November 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Cali has been selected as the host city for the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) by @UNBiodiversity. This milestone reflects our city’s deep commitment to biodiversity and sustainable development on a global scale.
The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Secretariat looks forward to the collaborative efforts that will unfold as we move from agreement to action. This decision highlights Cali’s pivotal role in advancing crucial discussions and initiatives for our planet’s biodiversity and harmony with nature.
